Project Engineer

Engineering · Full-time · Pittsburgh, PA

Deliver IT projects from our Pittsburgh office and at client sites — server deployments, networking, and infrastructure rollouts.

Responsibilities

  • Complete IT projects in-office and onsite at customer locations
  • Windows Server deployments and migrations
  • Switching, firewall, and Wi-Fi deployments
  • Load, transport, and install computer and network equipment

What you bring

  • Customer service experience
  • Networking experience and Windows Server knowledge
  • Solid grasp of core Microsoft products
  • Comfortable with Windows and macOS, mobile devices, and network printers
  • Strong time-management and ability to work in a team
  • Valid license — able to drive a company vehicle
  • Able to physically load and unload computer equipment

Nice to have

  • One or more Azure cloud certifications
  • Office 365 migrations and Azure experience
  • Intune and MDM deployments

3+ years of IT experience or equivalent training

Network Support Engineer

Engineering · Full-time · Pittsburgh, PA

Provide advanced technical support for client network infrastructure — the escalation point beyond Tier 1, working closely with teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver timely support for network issues via phone, email, and in person
  • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity problems
  • Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Escalate to internal teams or vendors when needed
  • Maintain accurate records of network hardware, software, and licenses
  • Continuously sharpen skills and stay current on networking technology

What you bring

  • Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • CCNA certification or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • 2+ years in network support, helpdesk, or technical support
  • Proven troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency with ticketing systems, remote tools, and Windows environments

Tier 1 Helpdesk Technician

Service Desk · Full-time · Pittsburgh, PA

Be the first friendly voice for our clients — resolving everyday IT issues quickly and clearly via phone, email, chat, and in person.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 support and respond to requests via phone, email, or in person
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve workstation-level issues, or escalate appropriately
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware
  • Guide and train end-users on basic software and hardware
  • Create and maintain FAQs and knowledge-base articles
  • Keep hardware/software inventory accurate and meet SLAs

What you bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years in an IT support role
  • Knowledge of basic software and hardware troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Business Development Representative

Sales · Full-time · Pittsburgh, PA

Generate new sales opportunities and qualified leads — prospecting new businesses and upselling existing voice-maintenance clients to MSP and Hosted VoIP.

Responsibilities

  • Use ZoomInfo and other tools to find and schedule first meetings within our Ideal Customer Profile
  • Work existing voice-maintenance clients to schedule upsell meetings (MSP, Hosted VoIP)
  • Follow PGH Networks’ defined sales processes
  • Attend sales meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items
  • Partner with Marketing on net-new client acquisition messaging

What you bring

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Able to translate technical solutions for non-technical clients
  • Can explain Fully Managed / Co-Managed IT and Hosted VoIP programs
  • Accurate, disciplined use of CRM tools
  • Strong relationship-building across team, clients, and partners
  • Skilled at asking great follow-up questions and setting clear next steps

Outside Sales

Sales · Full-time · Pittsburgh, PA

Win net-new clients — primarily companies without internal IT — operating largely autonomously while knowing when to pull in the wider PGH team.

Responsibilities

  • Find and close prospects within the PGH Networks Ideal Customer Profile
  • Communicate the business value and risk of aging or inadequate technology
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and client-facing deliverables
  • Attend community and networking events to build a referral ecosystem
  • Set clear expectations with prospects and teammates at every step

What you bring

  • Basic understanding of hardware and network systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong relationship-building and genuine curiosity about client businesses
  • Can explain the Fully Managed IT program and articulate technical value simply
  • Disciplined CRM use and consistent prospecting (cold calling, social selling, networking)
  • A natural connector who gives lots of referrals

Sr. Outside Sales

Sales · Full-time · Pittsburgh, PA

Acquire net-new clients and engage larger organizations with internal IT staff — navigating complex environments and multi-stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Find and close prospects within the Ideal Customer Profile, including larger accounts
  • Communicate technology standards, business value, and risk to senior stakeholders
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and client-facing deliverables
  • Navigate complex client environments (IT Director, CFO, COO, CEO, and more)
  • Mentor and coach teammates, and attend community/networking events

What you bring

  • Basic understanding of hardware and network systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of vertical regulations (HIPAA, SOC, FINRA, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and strong relationship-building
  • Can explain Fully Managed / Co-Managed IT programs
  • Disciplined CRM use and consistent prospecting
  • Coaching, mentoring, and accountability skills
